Youth Ministry Mission Trips
Through the years students at Village Church have served God on mission trips all over the United States, in Canada, and in Mexico. Mission trips are great opportunites to grow together, to grow in becoming followers of Jesus, and also to participate in God's work in the world.
2019 Mexico Mission Trip
In the past our high school students have gone on two trips to Xpujil, Mexico to build water cisterns and staff a VBS for local children). These trips have been significant in the life of students as they grow closer together as a group, as the serve God and the people of Xpujil, and as they grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
This year's trip is for current high school students; departure will be a day or two after school is out in June.
Parents and students are invited to a trip information meeting on Sunday, February 24, at 12:10 in Fellowship Hall.
The church mission council is subsidizing the cost of the trip (covering half of each student's cost); fundraising will cover much of the remainder bringing the cost down to a very affordable level! Again, more information at the parents' meeting.
