 Welcome to The Village Youth!

We help youth to become fully devoted disciples of Jesus!
     This means:

  • We help each student to know and follow Jesus. We'll walk alongside our young people (and their parents) as they develop their relationship with Jesus, and as they discover the joy, love, and wisdom that Jesus offers.

  • We help each youth to understand that being a disciple of Jesus is a life-long endeavor. We teach that our Christian faith needs to shape our values, and influence our relationship choices.

  • Each youth is encouraged to discover how they can join God's mission by serving God in their everyday life. We believe our youth can reflect God’s goodness right where they are — at home, at school, or in their community.

  • We want our students and leaders to experience authentic relationships with each other and with their mentors here. Together we'll have fun, challenge each other, support one another, and walk through both the good and tough times together.

How we communicate with parents and youth:

  • Parents
We want parents to be in the loop with all we have going on! Check out our Facebook Page, subscribe to our email list, and email Ed so that you can get on the text message thread. Also, keep an eye on this website. We'll keep it up to date. You'll be able to find most of your answers here! We'll be sending out regular emails to highlight upcoming events, and changes in the calendar. Contact Ed Burton, our Youth & Family Minister, by emailing him here: eburton@tvpchurch.org

  • Youth
We use texting to keep in touch with youth via an app called Remind. We text reminders of events, the occasional Bible verse, and updates for our weekly gatherings. We collect cell numbers from the youth when they're here, but we welcome parents' help in getting us the numbers as well. If you'd like your child to get reminders, please contact us! And if parents would like to receive these texts, send us your cell number and which ministry you'd like to be kept in the loop on.
