Families Reach Out to Covenant Village
Ten parents and children from the Young Families Bible Study small group shared their love with the residents of Covenant Village on October 20. The children gave the fifteen older adults who came the Halloween crafts they had made in advance.
All ages enjoyed decorating sugar cookies and eating them while interacting together. Megan Watters, one of the event organizers, commented, “It has been great watching our young kids interact with the Covenant Village folks and help their multi-generational program take off. Several of us have visited them since the summer, and hope to continue going every few months.”
