"Encourage one another daily . . . so that none of you
may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness." Hebrews 3: 13
TVPC offers a number of Inquirers’ Classes for individuals interested in membership. The schedule for 2011 is below. SIX REASONS to JOIN TVPC:
1. A church family helps you develop SPIRITUALLY.
"As each part does its special work, it helps the other parts grow,
so that the whole body is healthy and growing and
full of love." Ephesians 4: 16
2. A church family moves you out of SELF-CENTERED ISOLATION.
The biblical example shows us that though Jesus calls individuals into discipleship, he also calls them into fellowship in a faith community.
3. You will share in GOD’S MISSION in the world.
"He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join him in the work he does, the good works he has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing."
Ephesians 2: 10
4. A church family will KEEP YOU ACCOUNTABLE.
The New Testament places a major emphasis on the need for Christians to be accountable to each other for spiritual growth. You cannot be accountable when you’re not committed to any specific church family.
5. A church family identifies you as a BELIEVER in Jesus Christ.
"Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples." John 13: 35
6. The Body of Christ NEEDS YOU.
"A spiritual gift is given to each of us as a means for helping the entire church."
1 Corinthians 12:7

By participating in the governing responsibilities of the church
3. COMMITMENT TO OTHERS
