Adult Fellowship Groups
There are a number of fellowship groups which meet regularly throughout the year, as well as many Bible study groups, musical ensembles and outreach groups which also provide a deep sense of fellowship for our members . For information on any of these groups, please contact us.
Adult Bible Studies – A number of groups exist on Sunday morning and throughout the week where members build friendships as they study the Scriptures together. For more information click here.
Men’s Ministry – Our men’s fellowship meets monthly on Saturday mornings for breakfast and prayer. Each month features guest speakers covering a range of topics. Each spring, the Men’s Ministry Team also sponsors a Golf Outing.
Musical Ensembles – All of our music ensembles rehearse weekly and provide members with the opportunity of getting to know others better as they share their music gifts together in praise and worship. For more information click here.
Prayer Shawl Ministry – Every 1st & 3rd Wednesday evening, members gather at the church to knit prayer shawls for various members who are in need of comfort and healing, as well as those celebrating blessings such as new births.
Scrapbooking Fellowship – Meet monthly with like-minded scrap-bookers from the congregation who are looking for a meaningful time of fun and fellowship.
Muslim Outreach Fellowship – This group meets every other week with local Muslims who desire to build peace and friendship across our cultures. There are also a number of larger fellowship events throughout the year.
Senior Club – This group’s goal is to share a fun day together with other seniors from the Northbrook area. A variety of entertainment and a delicious meal are offered at each meeting. Senior Club usually meets on the 4th Thursday of every month from September through May, from 9:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
Alcoholics Anonymous - Individuals come together for this 12-step addiction recovery support group every Friday night at 8:00 p.m.
Shalom Neighbors – This is a wonderful opportunity to join members of the congregation who are looking to fellowship on a regular basis with Jewish neighbors in the community in order to gain insight and understanding about their culture and religion.
