I give you a new commandment, that you love one another.
Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. (John 13:34)

It is our desire that every member of the Village Church receive the care and support they need during difficult times in their lives. TVPC offers a wide array of Caring Ministries to meet the many needs of our members.

Pastoral Counseling – TVPC’s Pastoral Staff is available to meet with you to provide support, spiritual counsel and prayer. Simply contact them by phone or e-mail.

Hospital and Home Visitation – Our pastors are available to visit members in the hospital or home. If you know you are going to have surgery or are hospitalized unexpectedly, please notify our church office of the medical facility where you are receiving care.

Bereavement Ministry – The Pastoral Staff is available to meet with families grieving over the loss of a loved one, and also to help with funeral or memorial services.

Prayer Ministry – TVPC currently offers prayer support in two ways. Members can have their prayer requests printed in the weekly Prayer List which is circulated to our members for prayer, or members can provide the Associate Pastor with prayer requests to be shared privately with staff members who routinely pray for our members during their Thursday morning staff meetings.

Prayer Shawl Ministry - First and Third Wednesday every month at 7:00 p.m.  If you knit or crochet you can contribute to this ministry and enjoy the company of other talented ladies.  The Shawls are prayed over and distributed  to those in need of comfort.

Stephen Ministry - Stephen Ministry is a program of TVPC that equips lay persons to provide distinctively Christian one-to-one care to people experiencing a variety of personal difficulties. Stephen Ministers have been trained in caring ministry skills and work in conjunction with the Pastoral Care staff of TVPC.
Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. - Galatians 6:2

Career Resources Ministry - The TVPC Career Resource Ministry partners with St. Hubert Job & Networking Ministry and Career Resource Center.

"Now God gives us many kinds of special abilities...and there are different kinds of service to God...All of you together form the one Body of Christ and each of you is a separate and necessary part of it. " (1 Corinthians 12:4-5,27)

The Goal of the Ministry Team at TVPC is to initiate, develop, and implement a well defined program that will enable all the members of TVPC to discover and specifically identify their own personal servant profile. This profile will uncover their S.H.A.P.E.: Spiritual Gifts, Heart, Abilities, Personality, and Experiences.

Specifically, the profile will identify the following: each member's special gift, each member's personal style, and each member's passion. Our goal is to have trained teams in place and to launch this program to all members of TVPC. Seminars and training will also be available.
