In addition to encouraging personal study, reflection and prayer, there are three basic ways that Spiritual Growth is nurtured for our adults at TVPC.

  1. Weekly Sunday School classes
  2. Mid Week Spiritual Growth Opportunities
  3. Covenant Small Groups

Adult Sunday School
is offered during both services (9:30 & 11:00) throughout the year.

Dr. Chuck Guth, our Minister of Spiritual Growth meets in Fellowship Hall each Sunday at both 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. to teach Adult Sunday School.

Jesus came that we might have life and have it abundantly. The Bible tells us how we can live according to God’s truth and have the fulfilling life in the Spirit that He wants us to enjoy. Whether you worship at the Heritage Service or the Celebration Service, please consider spending a rewarding extra hour with us. It’s relaxed, interesting and important!

Covenant Small Groups
Throughout Christian history, people have joined in communities and small groups to help one another grow as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Small groups provide spiritual friendship, support, and opportunities for study and shared ministry. There are many types of small group ministries in the life of the church, such as prayer and support groups, scripture study groups, and mission and witness support groups.

There's a bumper sticker these days which says, "Think globally; act locally." It really expresses what a small group is all about. A small group helps you to grasp the big global picture and apply it locally in your own life.
