Adult Spiritual Growth
Adult spiritual growth seeks to develop three areas of faith. First, we provide opportunities to develop our knowledge of God: who he is, what he is like, what he has done for us, and what he expects from us. Second, we seek to develop our devotion to God: we should love him, be in communication with him, listen to him, obey him, live like him, and participate in the body of Christ. Third, we seek to encourage service for God: using our spiritual gifts, modeling the life of Christ, serving in the body of Christ, and sharing our faith with those around us.
How do we do this? In a variety of ways!
Adult Sunday School
Join us on Sunday mornings for tea, coffee, or cocoa—and lots of friendly fellowship—as we grow in our faith. The class is taught by Dr. Chuck Guth, our Minister of Spiritual Growth. It's relaxed, fun, and important!
The class is offered Sunday mornings during both worship services:
- 9:30 am (Westminster Hall)
- 11:00 am (Fireside Room)
“Take Two” is our Wednesday morning repeat at 10:00 am (on third floor)
Our current topic is The Darkest Valley: A Christian View of Life, Death, and Life After Death.
Other Mid-Week Spiritual Growth Opportunities
Bible Study for Women, 9:00 am or 6:30 pm in the Fireside Room.

Men's Bible Study, 1:00 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room.
Men Meeting Early, 6:30 am in the Spiritual Growth Room.

Throughout Christian history, people have joined in communities and small groups to help one another grow as faithful disciples of Jesus Christ. Small groups provide spiritual friendship, support, and opportunities for study and shared ministry.
